Jose Mourinho sacked by Manchester United

Manchester United's coach Jose Mourinho was sacked and it came as a no suprise  to most of the football fans and pundits. Most of the people were predicting his sacking sooner or later. Mourinho has faced a lot of controversies in the recent times and series of unfortunate and bad performances led him to depart from Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho is labelled as one of the finest coach in the modern Football. He has won UCL with a mediocre team like Porto and lead Inter to a fascinating treble in 2010. Back then, he was a tactful defensive maestro. Mourinho's Madrid scored 121 goals and bagged 100 points to finish ahead of Pep's Barca on 2011-12 La Liga title. However, Mourinho time ended as Los Blancos coach surrounding lot of criticisms as fans and board were not happy with the style of play and even dispute with high-profile players seemed to provoke fans and the board.

We're in 2018 and the similar circumstances revolved. Mourinho was always the center of attraction whether it be his three finger gesture, demand of respect on press-conference and perhaps a bad relationship with mid-fielder Paul Pogba.

Jose Mourinho was informed of his end with Manchester United at around 9am in a face-to-face meeting with executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward. Micheal Carrick is said to take the responsibility as interim manager as a possible replacement is not figured out. Mourinho was not possibly at his best at times at Manchester United and the brutal 3-1 loss to Liverpool was one of the main reason .

However, amid all the circumstances Mourinho has faced, it's not his sole mistake for United's constant poor performances. The Club had no response for Jose wanting a new Center-back with the club signing Fred from Porto and Diogo Dalot and Lee Grant as a backup goalkeeper. Jose Mourinho was not satisfied with the board decision and he publicly criticized the United board for failing to sign a new CB. The bad relationship with Pogba also began to surface among the media and a video on disagreement on the training ground was also seen which raised a lot of controversies in the relation of players and the head coach.

Pogba was left on the bench against the Liverpool game along with Anthony Martial who was supposed slowly beginning to show his performances on the field.
