Liverpool share points with Arsenal at the Emirates

In a cold evening at the Emirates, the reds took the lead with a Coutinho header from a Salah pass, which looped beyond Cech to give Liverpool the lead at the 26th minute.

Liverpool doubled their lead just 7 minutes after half-time via a curling Salah goal. The lead however was short-lived as Alexis Sanchez met a Bellerin cross to head home an Arsenal goal and ignite a remarkable comeback.
3 minutes after Arsenal had scored their first goal, Granit Xhaka scored a wonder goal for an Arsenal equalizer. 2 minutes later Arsenal scored with a Mesut Ozil goal after a neat build-up with Lacazette to complete an astonishing comeback. But, the game took another twist when Roberto Firmino shot was parried into his own net by the Arsenal goalkeeper.

The game ended in a draw with the final scoreline being 3-3. The result leaves Liverpool in 4th with 35 points from 19 games and Arsenal in 5th with 34 points, one behind their top 4 rival.
