Liverpool Thwarted Spartak Moscow by 7 goals

The Reds made certain of a first-place finish in Group E as they swept their Russian opponents aside with an awesome display of attacking football.
Philippe Coutinho struck twice and Roberto Firmino was also on target in an explosive opening 18 minutes to set Liverpool on their way to qualification.
Coutinho completed his hat-trick after the break on the night he wore the captain’s armband for the Reds, while Sadio Mane helped himself to a brace and Mohamed Salah rounded off the scoring with goal No.18 of his season so far.
It means Liverpool will take their place in Monday’s next-round draw – and afterwards, Klopp was left to savour the performance of his side.

Three goals in the opening 18 minutes stunned the Russian side and confirmed the Reds’ status as winners of Group E.
First, Coutinho, wearing the captain’s armband for the night, scored an early spot kick before sweeping in a second soon after. Roberto Firmino then got in on the act with a first-time finish from close range.
Sadio Mane added the fourth moments into the second half with a thumping volley and Coutinho completed his treble by finding the bottom corner via a deflection.
Mane bagged a sixth with 15 minutes remaining, turning home substitute Daniel Sturridge’s unselfish cutback from close range, before Mohamed Salah typically added his name to the scoresheet to complete the rout.
Now Liver Pool will be targeting next round with a good confidence along with 4 informed frontiers.
The Front Lineup of the Reds is now strong and if this form continues team alike united and city should gear up their preparations.
